ChennaiRentals.one is operated by SQEONE SYNERGY LLP, Chennai, India ("SQEONE", "we", "us"). SQEONE SYNERGY LLP is the data controller for the personal data collected through this site. Contact: chennairentals@sqe.one.

• Account data — name, email address, and login credentials when you register.
• Listing data — the details you submit in rental ads, including your contact phone number and property details.
• Enquiry and service-request data — messages and details you send through our forms (rental enquiries, home-service requests, advertiser enquiries).
• Subscription data — your email address and preferred locality when you subscribe to classifieds alerts.
• Usage and device data — IP address, browser and device identifiers, and basic usage/telemetry logs.
• Support messages — anything you send us by email or WhatsApp.

Payment card or UPI details are collected by our payment providers (Paddle, or your UPI app) — we never see or store your full card or UPI credentials.

• To provide the Service — creating your account, publishing your ads, connecting renters and owners (performance of our contract with you).
• Security and fraud prevention — reviewing listings, preventing scams and misuse (legitimate interests).
• Customer support — responding to your requests (contract performance / legitimate interests).
• Product improvement — understanding how the site is used (legitimate interests).
• Marketing and alerts — sending classifieds alerts you subscribed to (consent; you can unsubscribe anytime).
• Legal obligations — records we must keep under applicable law.

• Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, analytics, and email delivery providers that process data on our behalf.
• Merchant of Record — Paddle, for the sale of paid products, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
• Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers where needed.
• Authorities — where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal data. Where data is transferred outside India, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, account data while your account is active, listing data while the ad runs and for a reasonable archive period, and transaction records as required by tax and accounting law. Data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, ask us to restrict or object to processing, request a portable copy, or withdraw consent (for example, unsubscribe from alerts) at any time by writing to chennairentals@sqe.one. We respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the relevant data-protection authority.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level access rules on our database — to protect your data. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

We use essential cookies/storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, and limited analytics to understand site usage. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in from working.
